J.R.D.Tata Memorial Library CD-ROM collection are housed at Library Annexe building
popularly known as Digital Library on the IISc campus. This Annexe building situated
opposite to
National Center for Science Information
(NCSI) was inaugurated on 12 March 1998 by Mr. Ratan N. Tata. This
building also has other wings like
<Digital Information
Service Center (DISC) , Internet School and
Journal of
the Indian Instituite of Science.
The Library CD-ROM Collection include ProQuest Applied Science and Technology Plus
(ASTP) fulltext Image database, Institute Theses fulltext (pdf) Image database creation
(in progress), CD-ROM databases of few Journals, Books recieved with the Journal
issues and Books respectively. Sizeable number of stand alone CD-ROMs in various
fields like Art, Music, Science and Technology etc.
